The only wildlife park in the capital of a country, Nairobi National Park boasts as a thoroughly rewarding game drive and safari. It is best done in the early mornings or evenings, but then again, the wild is what it is: unpredictable. A stop over at the Ivory burning site gives you a glimpse into the ever continuing battle between conservation and poaching and the triumphs that have been recorded so far. 

Several picnic sites exist in the park that allows to get a health break, grab a snack or picnic meal, host a cocktail in the wild or enjoy the beauty of mother nature. If in the evening, elevated picnic sites give you an undeniably beautiful sunset setting. Enjoyed while sipping drinks of choice, the picturesque moments are firmly impressed on your mind for long after you have left.

The Safari walk and animal orphanage grant you a closer interaction with the animals in the park, albeit in a zoo like setting.
