The Railways Museum is a physical record of the Kenya-Uganda Railway, built by the British government and opened in the early 1900’s. The project was both grand and ambitious. Find out why it was famously described as the “Lunatic Express” by many in the Great Britain at the time.
Many engines and wagons used at the time are still to be found at the museum.
